Supporting the Career Development of UN Volunteers serving at UNICEF
UNICEF and UNV partnered to launch a series of Career Development Webinars for UN Volunteers serving at UNICEF
Uncertainty as to how to navigate the next professional move and how to develop in a career path is common amongst young professionals - especially those new to UNICEF and the UN System. UNICEF's Division of Human Resources (DHR), remaining committed to supporting the career development of its youngest employees, collaborated with the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) Capacity Development Team and their highly experienced and skillful career coaches, to boost the Volunteers' confidence and skills in shaping their career path.
In live sessions, UN Volunteers hosted at UNICEF offices globally receive helpful resources and advice on career management topics. In addition, they get the opportunity to make new connections, and exchange with their senior colleagues in both UN agencies.
UNICEF and UNV will continue working together with a sole purpose to support our dedicated and qualified UN Volunteers as they deliver on our organization's mandate and prepare for their next steps in the development and humanitarian sector.
