Highlights

The Smart Futures series of publications offers pedagogical recommendations to enhance learning opportunities for boys and girls during early childhood. It presents evidence-based practices that are highly valued and aim to strengthen the quality of interactions in early education services -- such as practical ideas, activities, and resources that can be utilized to implement the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) setting.

Policymakers and practitioners can use these recommendations to inform and enhance current initiatives, such as training processes and curriculum development.
