November 20 is World Children’s Day – a day to take action for children!
It’s the day when the most widely ratified human rights treaty in history, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, was adopted.
It’s a day to celebrate, but also recognize that children continue to have their rights denied every day. Despite tremendous progress over the past decades, millions of children remain unschooled, unprotected and uprooted.
That’s why this World Children’s Day, UNICEF is launching a global petition to call on world leaders to commit to fulfilling the rights of every child and to recognize that these rights are non-negotiable.
Sign the petition and #GoBlue to call on world leaders to commit to fulfilling the rights of every child and acknowledge that these rights are non-negotiable.
